Moviq Health · The Report
Make function
easier to understand.
Moviq Health does more than report numbers. It brings movement measurements, reference values, longitudinal change, and clinical interpretation together to create a clear picture of patient function. The report summarizes what the data shows, where function stands relative to reference, what has changed over time, and what those findings mean in the context of the patient.
01 · Clinical summary
Every report starts with an understanding of function.
Moviq Health does not leave physicians to interpret a page of numbers on their own. The report begins with a clinical summary written by a Doctor of Physical Therapy that brings the measurements together, explains what they mean for function, identifies the findings that matter most, and shows what has changed since the previous study.
-
01 · Overview What the findings mean for everyday function.
Walking is independent and within reference for community distances. Reduced force production is now the main limitation, most likely to show when rising from a low chair, climbing stairs or stepping up a curb.
-
02 · Key findings The measurements that matter most, interpreted in context.
Gait speed is 1.10 m/s, within reference. Peak force (10.2 N/kg) and rate of force development (26 N/s/kg) are below reference, and force symmetry is 16%, with the involved leg doing less of the work.
-
03 · Comparison What changed since the last study, and what remains limited.
Since the 3-month study, gait speed rose from 0.96 to 1.10 m/s and is now within reference. Peak force rose from 8.4 to 10.2 N/kg, and symmetry improved from 23% to 16%; both remain outside reference.
02 · Results
Numbers need context.
Every result is read against a reference.
A measurement means more when there is something meaningful to compare it with. Moviq Health places each result beside its reference value and identifies whether it falls within or outside that range, making differences easier to see and giving the clinical summary a measurable foundation.

03 · From Data to Function
From measurement
to an understanding of function.
Numbers describe movement. Clinical interpretation explains what those numbers mean for function. Moviq Health connects each measurement to its reference and translates the finding into a clearer picture of what the patient can do, where function is limited, and how movement may affect everyday activity.
-
Gait speed 1.10 m/sref ≥ 1.00 m/s Within
What it means for function: Walking speed is within healthy reference, supporting safe community ambulation.
-
Peak force 10.2 N/kgref ≥ 22.0 N/kg Outside
What it means for function: Reduced force can make it harder to rise from a low chair, climb stairs, or step up onto a curb.
-
Rate of force development 26 N/s/kgref ≥ 30 N/s/kg Outside
What it means for function: Force develops more slowly, which can matter when the body needs to respond quickly and recover from a loss of balance.
-
Force symmetry 16 %ref ≤ 10% Outside
What it means for function: The unaffected leg is doing more of the work, revealing a compensation that may be difficult to see when walking appears normal.
04 · Clinical Application
See where the patient is.
Measure what changes next.
The pre-op measurement establishes the patient’s starting point. Every subsequent study can be compared with this baseline and with reference values.
All three measures are outside reference. The measurements establish the early state of recovery and give the clinician an objective point from which to track change.
Gait has returned to within reference, force is recovering, and symmetry has improved to within reference. The trajectory is becoming visible.
Gait, force, and symmetry are all within reference. The measurements show where function stands now and how it has changed across recovery. The data makes functional change visible.
05 · Reference value
A measurement needs context.
The reference makes it meaningful.
Healthcare rarely interprets a result in isolation. Blood pressure, bone density, lung function, and laboratory values are compared with what is expected to show where a patient stands. Movement can be measured the same way. A reference turns a movement result into clinical information, showing whether function is within an expected range, below it, or changing toward it.
About Moviq Health
The same precision.
A greater purpose.
Moviq Health began with a simple question: if precise movement measurement can help elite athletes understand performance and recovery, why shouldn’t the same precision help patients? We are bringing biomechanics into healthcare to measure function, track recovery, and give clinicians a clearer picture of how people move through life.
